George Soros’ Open Society Foundation is going all-out to “debunk” claims it is funding violent racial protests across the country, but a trail of cash and paperwork is proving his denials are false.

The Open Society Foundation took the unusual step of responding directly to claims about Soros after conservative commentator Candace Owens speculated a wave of anti-police protests were funded by the leftist Hungarian billionaire.

“The Minneapolis chief of police just confirmed that many of the protesters that are burning down the city are NOT FROM MINNEAPOLIS,” Owens tweeted May 28. “My guess: As he did with Antifa, Democrat George Soros has these thugs on payroll. He is funding the chaos via his Open Society Foundation.”

PolitiFact rated her claim “False,” based on the Society’s direct response.

“Hi Candace, Mr. Soros and the Open Society Foundations oppose all violence and do not pay people to protest,” the group quickly responded. “We lament the effort, through baseless allegations, to distract from the crisis of police brutality in Minneapolis and in too many other parts of the country.”

But anti-police protesters are getting Soros cash, documents in Wisconsin reveal.

Many of the activists behind the rioting are active in the “Black Lives Matter” movement, which Soros funded in 2015.

But one group, Freedom Inc., which directly voices support for anti-police violence, is funded by Soros.

The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports:

The Madison-based nonprofit has advocated for the release of all African Americans from jail and the defunding of police departments. As for the current protests, the group’s leaders say “all actions against racist state violence are justified.”

“Stop murdering black people, and your glass will be safe,” Monica Adams, co-executive director for Freedom Inc., said while leading the third day of police protests in the state’s capital on Monday.

“Thank all the youth freedom fighters who were in the streets fighting (Sunday) night and Saturday night,” said Mahnker Dahnweih, community power-building coordinator for Freedom Inc. “Every action is a contribution to liberation.”

PJ Media investigation finds the violent pro-rioting group is directly funded by Soros.

“A dive into Freedom, Inc.’s finances also reveals a direct link to OSF. One organization that has provided grants to Freedom, Inc. is Borealis Philanthropy,” PJ Media reports.
